Ahead of the launch of his Tai Chi course at Lloyd’s, Alex Gardner will be joining us for a unique lunchtime talk that explores the power of Tai Chi and its ability to positively impact both our physical and mental health. Your speaker is Alex Gardner
Alex Gardner is part of the team at Babacool (www.babacool.net) where he runs sessions in Tai Chi Qigong and other activities, including qualifying others. Although Alex comes from a martial arts background, he has also studied the medical styles of Tai Chi Qigong for several years, including travelling to China, where he is one of a handful of Westerners who have been invited to demonstrate and take part at the “Kung Fu Court” held in Kung Fu Corner in Kowloon. Alex is a strong advocate for the beneficial effects of the art for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. His teaching style is relaxed, informative, and inclusive.
